OBD protocol activation is the "license" that allows for the KESS3 to connect over a serial port connection to read and write to the ECU through the dash of the vehicle. This activation will support all of the vehicles listed in this group. If you need additional supported vehicles from another protocol group, you will need to choose them additionally.

Bench-Boot protocol activation is the "license" that allows for the KESS3 to be directly connected when the ECU hardware is removed from the vehicle. Does it come with a warranty?

What's the returns policy?
