Depends on the generation. 7.3 Powerstrokes typically use SCT or PHP Hydra. 6.0 and 6.4 trucks use SCT or HP Tuners. 6.7 Powerstrokes can use SCT, HP Tuners, or EZ Lynk. Tell us your truck and we'll specify exactly what you need.
Tuning alone won't fix mechanical issues, but tow-safe tuning that respects EGT limits and disables aggressive emissions strategies can absolutely make a 6.0 more reliable for daily use. Pair tuning with proper hardware (head studs, ARP fasteners, EGR upgrade) for the full reliability story.
Yes. The 6.4 is one of the more involved tuning platforms but absolutely tunable. We focus on drivability, MPG, and tow performance for 6.4s, with attention to keeping the dual turbos happy.
A stock 6.7 Powerstroke typically sees 80-130 RWHP gains from a quality tune. With supporting mods (intake, exhaust, intercooler), you can push significantly more — and we'll keep it safe. We tune for what your truck and goals actually need, not for dyno numbers we can't deliver reliably.
Yes. 5R110 and 6R140 transmission tunes are available and recommended any time you raise engine output. A locked converter and firmer shifts keeps the trans alive.
