HP Tuners exclusively presents our L5P Modified ECM Purchase & ECM Exchange Service, giving you the power to tune your 2017+ Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax. You now also have the option to either purchase a new HP Tuners Modified ECM or send us your original ECM and we will exchange it for a HP Tuners modified one. Both options give you full access to calibrate, log and scan via the OBD2 port with your MPVI2 and VCM Suite 4.3+!

Notes Before You Order
– Your modified or exchanged L5P ECM can only be tuned via the OBD2 port with HP Tuners VCM Suite 4.3+ and an MPVI2.
– To tune your L5P ECM you require 10 Universal Credits, an MPVI2 with the latest firmware, the latest version of VCM Suite and an internet connection.
– No other tuning or calibration tools can be used with the ECM (including dealer reflash tools).
– VCM Scanner, dealer diagnostic and other diagnostic tools will continue to function normally.
– VCM Suite 4.3+ can be used to return to stock calibration and/or update to the latest stock calibration.
– Vehicle Anti-Theft System relearn by a dealer tool is required once the ECM is returned to the vehicle.
– Please also allow at least 3 business days for this exchange service not including shipping times.

Exchange Requirements
When you send in the ECM, you MUST include the following:

  1. Provide your VIN in the cell above
  2. Perform the Replace ECM Function in VCM Scanner for the stock ECM
  3. Customer Name
  4. Customer Address
  5. Customer Contact Information (E-mail and Phone)
  6. L5P ECM Exchange Service Order #
  7. If you are also providing your TCM (T87a) for unlock, please also provide your order number
  8. Whether the ECM is the original from the vehicle or a new spare ECM
  9. Vehicle Information (Year/Make/Model)
  10. Preferred UPS shipping method

If the information above is not provided with the ECM, it may delay the ECM exchange process while the missing information is acquired. Please ensure your follow both the above instructions when placing your order and review the installation instructions here.

The default shipping added with the exchange service is UPS ground, however expedited shipping is available via the checkout process.

NOTE: Note this ECM exchange service is completed at the owners risk, HP Tuners will not be responsible for the vehicle, its power-train or electronics, nor how the ECM is used, calibrated and its functionality. Should you experience any issues with your ECM, please contact support@hptuners.com for assistance and how to proceed.

A reminder that your ECM will not be returned to you, this service is an “exchange” and you will receive another modified ECM in its place. There is no outright purchase option available at this time.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Items with weights ove 100 lbs will be subject to a freight and handling fee.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Returns Procedure:
Contact Us Request an RMA for the item you wish to return. Prepare your package in original packaging, with all parts, pieces and paperwork that were included when delivered. Return your item via your preferred shipping provider. Once received, Stealth Diesel will inspect your item and issue a refund according to our refund & restocking fee schedule Shipping charges are non-refundable. Restocking Fee: There will be a 20% restocking fee on all returns.
Manufacturer Direct Shipping

Products that ship direct from the manufacturer may have delayed tracking upto 2-3 days or more..

If a product is out of stock or shipping direct from the manufacturer, we will send a notifacation email.

  • When will my item ship?
    All products usually ship within 1-2 days. If shipping direct from the manufacturer it may take 2-3 days to ship. Products that are powdercoated may take upto 4 weeks.
  • How do I get Free Shipping?
    When you add $99 or more to your cart, at checkout it will populate a free ground shipping option.
  • How fast can products be shipped?
    We offer many different shippign option with FedEx and UPS. Ground delivery and Overnight shipping.
  • Do you provide a tracking number?
    Yes, we ship UPS and FedEx and a tracking number is provided if requested.
  • Whit if my product is Backordered?
    All in stock products will be shipped within 24 hours. In the rare case of a backorder you will be notified with an estimate of when product will ship.
  • Do you accept Returns?
    We accept returns within 30 days with a 20% restock fee on all authorized returns. We do not refund shipping charges.
  • What Warranty does my product have?
    All products sold by Stealth Diesel carry the warranty provided by the manufacturer, and warranty documentation will be sent with the product(s). Stealth Diesel by no means offers any warranty beyond that provided by the manufacturer. In the event of a defective product, all support can be obtained directly from the manufacturer. All products sold by Stealth Diesel are aftermarket products and are intended for off-road or show use only. Stealth Diesel is not liable for any damages or injury as a result of the installation of these products. Due to strict regulations by the Department of Transportation, some of these products are not approved for street/highway use. Removal of reinforcements, bumpers, turn signals, and other safety equipment may be required for installation and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Stealth Diesel will be in no way responsible for any consequences directly or indirectly resulting from these actions.Stealth Diesel does NOT make any reimbursement for labor charges incured having a defective product professionaly installed.
  • How long does Powdercoated products take to ship?
    Products that are powdercoated can take upto 4 weeks. If you take your truck apart before you order custom parts. It is not our problem or the manufacturers problem. Powdercoated parts take time to finish and cure.
  • What is a Core Charge?
    A core charge is an acronym for "Cash On Return". These are rebuildable parts that can usually be redeemed for a portion of their original purchase price. Most companies will reuse the case of a transmission, the core of a valve body or even an internal part of a torque converter that is either no longer available or much to expensive to buy new and can be reused on the newly manufactured part. These charges are refundable though once you send in your original part.
